!Went for dinner and sat outside with a beautiful view.

The menu is limited but they are expanding their menu and I can't wait to go back. Owners adore seeing childrenFind more American (Traditional) Restaurants near Dockside Dan's It's a great addition to the area! The fries I have to say were excellent so nothing to change there. The best food in Sister Lakes BY FAR!! Soooo goodReally good food, generous drinks, beautiful sunsets! We stopped by Dockside Dan's on our way home from a short weekend in Michigan.

Over hear the staff talk about patio and ask about it. We sat on the patio overlooking Round Lake and had a nice break from our ride. I had the smoked wings which were being prepared on a grill right near the patio. Fried pickles tasted fresh and had more pickle than breading which is a good thing. So Dockside Dan's has opened in Sister Lakes last summer, a welcome new-comer in this area, which has limited options for food and drink. I might have had too high of expectations for the food, I found it to be good, not great. But nice addition to the sister lakes area . So we found a table with a nice view and waited a couple mins before the waitress came to greet us; she was very nice. Our ever evolving menu has a little bit of something for everyone. My husband has the Cod sandwich which was more like a frozen fish sandwich not fresh in case you thought it was. Our ever evolving menu has a little bit of something for everyone.

!I recommend the fried pickles and onion rings. (Like us). Ice cold beers with a great selection of both taps and bottles. The 16 oz sand shark beers were on special for $3.00 which isn't bad at all. The chicken sandwich was also a very large portion. The menu is limited which isn't always a bad thing because it usually means homemade fresh food but that wasn't the case here. This place is right on the water with a great patio. Thank you for reviving this place. The owner stopped by to introduce himself and ask about our visit. Tried again tonight because of hearing several people had recent positive experience. The food was good, beer was cold and service was fine. So we ordered our food and it took an EXTREMELY LONG TIME to get it. I didn't think it could get worse.

The only reason this place gets 3 stars is that the food is pretty average.

The hostess and waitress were really nice and the owner,Dan?, came over and asked us how everything was. We tried almost everything on the menu, the most memorable thing was the fries, very good steak fries. We're locals and know most of the good spots around the area although we don't get out to Sister Lakes often and haven't been here before, but this was a very good burger (the blue cheese version with grilled onions) and the grouper basket was very good too.

Other places were closed or had events.

Hope it staysGreat bar with nice views. Looking forward to coming back. Dockside Dan's. We had the fried pickles and onions rings for apps... delicious! This is my favorite place in the area. What a disappointment! I've been here a few times since this has been officially Dockside Dan's and have always had a good experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. When we went in, the lady at the bar immediately told us they didn't open until noon and she still had some time left before noon.
