Such a great place to get away from it all plus only a couple of minutes away from the Nantahala River and NOC. Views from front porch is gorgeous to enjoy while drinking your coffee and rocking in your chair. Book it quickly because they only have 8 ( I think?) The dvd's are located so that they are available to all guests 24/7 This place would be great to rent out for a family reunion or maybe even a small corporate retreat or something.
It was clean & cozy. Book with them directly on airbnb. It is tucked away in the trees well off the highway but so close to the river that it takes just a minute to get there. I loved it!
Queen and King Rooms available. Cindy was apologetic about not having these but the remoteness of the location prevents it. The room was immaculate!

These rooms are nice size, bed is comfortable, has microwave, small refrigerator, and nice hot water for showers. There was nothing but peace and quiet.

What more could you ask for! Our 3 bedroom cabin by the river offers the best in Nantahala Lodging and is perfect for Families, Friends and Fishermen. You can tell they take pride in their property and in their customer service.
Only downside is parking is below so you have to walk up a small steep hill but they do allow you to pull up to load or download.
Besides, you can get a great breakfast with free wifi just a minute down the road at the NOC - Nantahala Outdoor Center.
She also offered us our privacy which was nice for our romantic little getaway. Super close to Nantahala Outdoor Center. This area of Western North Carolina is also a mecca for motorcyclists with miles of scenic back-roads across the Smoky Mountain Range. Verizon phones work here at the lodge, but that's it. Also very clean and felt like a charming mountain getaway! Cindy & Chad were wonderful hosts.
