I like my M215 with its metal body more then my M200 demonstrator.
Just as later models do not have a friction fit nib, but a screw-nib unit. This copy has a friction fit nib unit.
The Duo Cart was based on the original design of the 88. The "Duo Cart" feature of the original is gone, but they've kept the name for this new pen.
Later on, the M200 had the Pelikan logo on the cap. back to top. Beautiful pen - this is the small brother of the larger M800 / M600.
Cependant ce système intégré condamne le stylo en cas de défaillance, a contrario d'un convertisseur. I like my M215 with its metal body more then my M200 demonstrator. They also have already used the "Archivi Storici" name before.
The M200 is small.
I had it checked out where I bought it and the technician saw no problems with the pen.
Pelikan 983056 Stylo plume F M200 (Noir) - posted in Fountain & Dip Pens - First Stop: Dear fellow pen enthusiasts, Im interested in purchasing either a Pelikan m200 or Aurora Duo Cart. For a larger printing (like in Arial 10+), any "ordinary", wider marker may be more convenient than doing a lot of scribbling over each word. Because I heard all about it and was curious to see how it (and its pen) would work out. This one does not have the cartridge converter though. (3) A swab is finally the way to go if you want a really fat highlighting which also nicely covers any printing in a book, mag or newspaper, laser printout (data not shown), but that method is IMO too tedious to use on a routine basis. Different to the M200 Burgundy is not only the cap, the ink window is dark anthracite instead of light grey. The fountain pen was announced as a special edition at short notice, but this note disappeared very early, so it can be assumed that the pen is produced as a series model.
The ink is very flourescent, a bit too flourescent for text I would say, I think my eyes would get tired reading it! Geha made a nice regular and semi-flex steel nib too, matching the gold....in class. This is a great fountain pen if you want a compact Piston filler, it has smooth slightly springy nib that will offer a little bit of line variation to your writing with pressure.
Using it to highlight a print-out from my Deskjet was much better than expected. I find the brightness makes the Pelikan ink a little bit better than the Noodler's for highlighting but slightly less suited for marginal notes.
Both of my encounters with Aurora’s service department have been rather chaotic. The nibs are screw-in, and if you decide that you want to have both an F and M nib (or any other combination on hand), it's easy to make the change. You can get an M200, and 2 nibs for the price of the red Duo Cart.

Attention!
They also aren't cheap, considering they're just steel (and small) nib units.Purely from my experience, the Aurora completely beats the pants off the M200 as a writer. of course... and with all my papers. The 200's are a very good springy steel nib, made to semi-vintage and vintage sizing, that gives a good ride. The actual property of this ink being able to dissolve that ink line which is to be highlighted was completely unexpected. I've only done a little over-writing of FP ink text with the highlighter ink, all of this over Diamine inks, and there was smearing regardless of how much time had passed since writing, so I think I shall be using it to underline, if at all. Some people don't like that, but honestly I don't see the problem.
It writes beautifully. Mention légale Déclaration de confidentialité Contact Base de données Inscrivez-vous.
