There is great stylistic variety on the album from title track "Pipes of Peace", to the personal insight of "The Other Me", the romping fun of "Keep Under Cover", and the soulful love song "So Bad". For some reason "Average Person" is my favorite with Paul's amusing observations of everyday folk and the intersection of their personalities and their professions. Having said that, the bonus disc is a TOTAL throw away!! The album,released in 1983,was produced by George Martin and includes the hit single ‘Say Say Say’, a duet with Michael Jackson that stayed at #1 on the US Chart for 6 weeks. 'Pipes Of Peace is the fourth solo studio album by Paul McCartney.

Rock And Pop | UMC | 3LP There are some very catchy little ditties on this one, often overlooked. £50.00 - £58.00 Good companion to Tug Of War and I think one of his hidden gems. Now I don't regret not spending more on LPs when that was the only option. £18.00 A favorite is "The Other Me."
£10.00 In "Through Our Love", George Martin adds strings and some orchestral instruments to give this love song some of the classic richness in emotion and wonder that is effortless for Paul.
