However, I didn’t even know that Season 2 had started. Please don’t remove The Alienist. I love this show! Season 2, Episode 3 Labyrinth. Do Not Cancel this Show!! Regardless I’m sure this show can only get better. It is a very well written, intelligent, Very well acted and well thought out plot that keeps me on the edge of my seat.

Great actors, great storyline, great great great !!!! !I usually don’t put my two cents in when a show gets cancelled I usually shake my fist at the decision and accept it. Not this time. The producers and tnt have a gem in their hands. Season 1 appeared to be performing well on Netflix when it was first released and if the second season pulls similar numbers, we could easily see The Alienist become a Netflix original series.Aside from the issue with the renewal status, the potential release date for season 3 is limited by the production timeline. At the time of writing, The Alienist has not been renewed for season 3, nor has it been cancelled. If tnt fails to renew maybe Netflix will pick it up. I even had it set up on my DVR but it never appeared in my lineup.
