The few humans they encounter on their journey are hostile on average, only trying to survive like our two main characters. There's nothing really pulse-pounding, but the reality is this movie is of a different vein then the average "battle through the hordes" Z flick. A group of teens are challenged to spend a night in the Wagner mansion on the edge of town. A very low-budget movie (only $6,000) filled with ingenious ideas and some really good laughs. You don't want to see it but you can't help but look at it. I have to admit that the first time I watched The Battery I turned it off after twenty minutes or so; there seemed to be a cast of two and nothing going on. This is a fantastic film it needs more stars! There is no real plot, other than the zombie plague that apparently is spreading. With Jeremy Gardner, Adam Cronheim, Niels Bolle, Alana O'Brien. The Battery is a great example of DIY film making … In a world of vampires, an expert vampire hunter and his young protégé travel toward sanctuary. When the men intercept a radio transmission from a seemingly thriving, protected community, Mickey will stop at nothing to find it, even though it is made perfectly clear that he is not welcome. Once you are prepared for a small budget and a different focus the film works.Good but limited Zombie movie- watch through the credits Just say "no". The number of zombies in sight is kept to a minimum, being not really important for the story, only needed as entourage creating the circumstances in which the two men have to survive.
