The Alouettes logo from 1970 has always been my favorite. Here are a few examples in which you can see that the Dedicated to reporting mainstream and esoteric aspects of professional football. There are barely any shadows on the ground, so it almost reads as a flat vertical background, which added to the uniqueness of the image.
