What a change. Nothing amazing but definitely good comfort food. Barley Republic never disappoints. One dollar oysters and a $5 huge burger! My husband and I decided to head to Barley Republic for dinner Friday night. We both loved our dishes and the Irish pub flavor was everywhere and was a great way to dine and warm up simultaneously!!! They had a happy hour which was awesome, had two really good, really big glasses of sangria for $4 each. Great flavor but I expected a hard outside to the pretzel but it was soft. It was very well cooked and the arugula and red onions complimented the sandwich. Perfect for people watching. Order To Go on…"Arrived just before lunch. The burger was great but the battered chicken with their spicy sauce was uh-mazjng!I live very close by and Barley Republic is my go to neighborhood pub. The wait staff was very attentive. Staff is fun & personable. Our server was friendly and helpful. Barley Republic has $1 Oysters and Shrimp, and $5 Burgers. However, the food was great.

We ordered the Hot Mess Poutine as an app. I had the shrimp. Happy hour specials are available Monday through Friday, with discounts on beers and well cocktails. It feels like stepping back in time with the old light fixtures and leather seating. My wife and I were staying in Old Town St Augustine for Christmas desperately looking for someplace to enjoy a nice late lunch. Brown gravy, cheese, and fries. The food was delicious and so were our drinks! I ordered the Reuben for dinner.
Saint Augustine's only Irish Gastro-pub. It just kept catching my eye and taking away from the lovely experience. Started off with a mocktail and asked the bard tender to whip me something up. Not sure how that impacts raw oysters...Now have full liquor in addition to the bottle and tap lineup.Great place for craft beer and some eats while walking around St. Augustine. We ordered some drinks and food. Swag Shop I definitely want to hit this spot again.You do not see shepherds pie on menus very often so when I do I will sometimes order it.The ambiance, service and food was amazing! Everything here is top notch. The $1 happy hour oysters are back - and they are excellent size and quality. It's an Irish Pub just off of the main St. George strip. We walked by and when we saw the menu we wished we had come here instead of another place we went to. Be sure to ask for her!
