I had to walk around to find a seat and it felt as if I was in an episode of game of thrones or something. The name "Brazen Head" comes from a 13th century legend of a brass or bronze head that could predict the future. Served with cottage fries.A young person's burger on a toasted Kaiser bun. I really enjoyed it.If you get the Irish Stew here and you are planning on traveling around Ireland looking for better stew, you'll be disappointed.Overview: It was a cute and historic location, but everything lacked flavour and was over cooked.

The Brazen Head is an excellent tourist attraction in Dublin. With that said, food was good, but not worth going out of your way for. Come to The Brazen Head for a break and degust mouthwatering irish stew, pork sausages and beef stew.

It was an OK experience but with so many pubs in the area I would not say this was the friendliest.This place is a must visit! It was at the Brazen Head that Robert Emmet planned the insurrection of 1798. Stopped by for dinner with a colleague on a Tuesday night. Chicken breast, basil pesto mayo, lettuce, tomato, bacon, Swiss and Irish cheddar on sourdough bread. Wish I knew where this head was now.

Staff and food were terrific.The food and dining experience must be the biggest tourist trap in Ireland (Europe).The service and food were average, however we attended the evening of food, folk and faires, which was brilliant. The service was mediocre, but again, mostly for that Irish feel.

The Brazen Head has a well-deserved reputation for great food, serving both traditional and contemporary dishes. The dish was perfection. Another great spot for some live music and good people--seems to be the Dublin way.

I'm not sure if this place is truly the oldest pub in Ireland, but who cares!
