It is extremely difficult to grasp the key elements. Instead, it is a small, densely written text with chapters on particular aspects of the approach. I am going to have to go and buy a different book to actually apply this approach successfully. As Paul Gilbert (founder of CFT) says in the foreword of this book, CFT is actually not a “simple” therapy as its V handy for students and professionals.
