Indeed, even with a small daycamp using one part of their grounds during our stay, I rarely was around others as I walked around the property. The room was comfortable, and the views and access to hiking trails were extraordinary. We observe a 60 day advance booking policy in order to give conference groups first priority. Other than this, I was well pleased with my stay.This is the only hotel I will stay at In this area and as a reward for my loyalty, I would like a room facing Pikes Peak on future stays which I did not have this time. This charming castle is nestled right next to the Garden of the Gods and will not disappoint.When we made plans to move to Colorado Springs, I looked up all the great places we needed visited. The lower level room with tv, pool table and games was nice. The ladies behind the counter were nice and helpful. ft. of meeting space to choose from. It could use some flower pots out front to liven up the appearance, its very sterile, but it was a good stop over stay for 1 night. The family room on the first floor is comfortable even with the dining table. The history of this property is facinating. Peaceful and beautiful place to retreat and connect with God in natureMy husband and I came for a couple nights to celebrate our 35th anniversary and have a spiritual retreat together.
All very minor things. The property was as described and my kids loved the park behind the property. All-season Deck/hot Tub/views! The house is wired with speakers which is a delightful addition. The next night was quiet. Because Glen Eyrie is an active conference center, our guest rooms are available for individual overnight stays when not reserved for a group.
We are so glad you could visit.Great experience all around, the customer service was great and the History of the Castle is fasinating. My daughter and I decided to visit Colorado Springs with the hopes of having fun while still being safe during a pandemic. She didn't like the area, and moved back East.

It's now a conference center, and you can cater events there, have tea there, or take guWe really enjoyed the tour and are thinking of staying a night or two next time we are in Colorado. I was so impressed that the staff went to such huge lengths to follow and adhere to new regulations and SOPs for our benefit, and did it all with smiles under their masks (at least as far as I could tell) and gracious words on their lips. We did not see any bears, but we did see lots of rabbits. The house was immaculate and an incredible place to spend time with my family. We hope to see you again soon :)
