I needed something to make some Arduino boards that were a bit more permanent than the no-solder prototype breadboards. Board design is well out of scope of this document but Sparkfun.com has kindly provided these tutorials for using Eagle CAD to make circuit board designs. JWSmythe Larry Gold

by They are excellent if you are building small circuit designs such as an extension of a main board. "If you ever find yourself short-handed..." Steve Tabler Each size of board has 4-mounting holes to secure it which makes it permanent, not like a temporary breadboard situation where the "hook-up" wires may lose a connection. I just wish that some of the boards were 2-times or larger than the largest boards in this set, as I haven't found any, anywhere.
I gave four stars instead of five because the column letters do not match from one side to the other, which is the main reason for those letters; to make it easy to look on one side and see which column you're working on and then flip it over and find the SAME column on the other side. The holes have .1" centers for soldering that accept most components. I think this is a good kit to purchase if you Prototype a lot of home brew electronics projects like I do. These are very nice proto boards in an assortment of sizes, perfect for tinkering with electronics on 0.100" centers. 18 So all my six- and seven-handed friends have a great advantage when doing electronics work and the like.
