This was a PERFECT location to visit Bryson City for shopping and groceries (10 minutes), Deep Creek for tubing and hiking (15 minutes), gem mining (15-20 minutes) and the NOC for white water rafting, kayaking and plenty more! Rent a whole home for your next weekend or holiday. There is also entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in the Deep Creek community - a great spot to go hiking, fishing, tubing, view some waterfalls, and go horse back riding. There are two decks - one has a really nice hot tub, the other has a wood burning fireplace along with a view. There is a outdoor grill, picnic table, outdoor chairs and a fire pit at your cabin. we were pleased with all amenities at the cabin and Joe has a lot of great personal touches. It was clean and cozy. All the utilities are new and everything is up to date.
