According to the car’s data plate, the Vector W8 offered here was the third production model built and was the car photographed in the March 1991 Road & Track feature. Here's something we can file under "extremely tragic": People don't talk about the Vector W8 nearly as much as they should. The W8 you see here is a low mileage, former museum example and is being offered in pristine condition at the Monterey Auction on the 15th of August 2014, I suspect that this car is going to set a new price record for a Vector W8 but only time will tell.
