This is one roller coaster of a story arc, and that is not necessarily a good quality. Nearly going into decades. Like many Superman stories Doomed struggles to create a narrative for an all powerful character. The whole thing is brought down to 4 stars by some really ridiculous plot points, and then to 3 by being twice as long as it needs to be. It re-imagines the monster Doomsday in a new and refreshing way; in this manner, it truly has become unkillable.Superman Doomed had the potential to be amazing. I have no idea!

It looks unlike any other Superman toys, while still being recognizably him. Start by marking “Superman: Doomed” as Want to Read: With that being stated, "Superman: Doomed" had some great moments. Meanwhile, the population of Smallville begins succumbing to mysterious comas. And somehow Lois has the telepathic ability to beat Brainiac at his own game. I feel like the story made big jumps forwards and backwards between issues, made for a disjointed read. Superman: Doomed as a crossover event could have been so much better than it has, with the transition between chapters and overall plot feeling a bit stretched.
