Very efficient. I find that confusing and unnecessary, but besides that part the food, service, atmosphere is awesome and so are the drinks! The food was not as good from when they first opened.Everything was great but was hard to hear. Service was exceptionally friendly, helpful and energetic. Good chips / salsa. The restaurant was close to my hotel. Broken English Indy. Mezcal margaritas were also fantastic. She recommended a bunch of different things and all were good. Our reservation was at 9:30.

Reasonably priced and fun atmosphere! It suited our needs to be close to the theater for an 8 pm show. Food and service was great.Always the best tacos here, PLUS really delicious margs and pretty good value if you’re purchasing a pitcher. This place will be loud but atmosphere is very cute! Our party was seated next to the door which allowed cold air in every time the door was opened. Tacos were amazing and so were the drinks! Not as good as it started out but fine if you’re desperate. It was my first time at Broken English (Lake St. location) and I really liked it. It was very loud, but we were okay with it!Prices were high for the amount of food that was served. Everything is served fresh and fast!Tacos were great - split the 12-taco plate between two people and were stuffed. Staff was very attentive - water was frequently refilled. But stick with the good Tequila and cheap Coronas.. CBD added to any drink $5.Great service, great ambiance, but no so great cooking.Taco Tuesdays are great! It was perfect.I had heard Broken English's food was just okay but it seems they shrunk their menu and increased the quality of what they serve. And $11 for a margarita and an additional $3 because of the pineapple flavor it’s ridiculous, especially for the size of the drink. Located on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Lake Street, Broken English is steps away from Millennium Park, and in the center of the new vibrant hotel and residential area. And about another 15 min for water after we asked. It is too loud in there to have a conversation. Now's the time to support your favorite restaurants.Mexican, Contemporary Mexican, Mexican / SouthwesternRed Line, Blue Line, Brown Line, Purple Line, Orange Line, Green Line, CTA #3,CTA #146, CTA #147, CTA #151Bar/Lounge, Beer, Cocktails, Counter Seating, Delivery, Full Bar, Gluten-free Menu, Happy Hour, Late Night, Non-Smoking, Outdoor dining, Patio/Outdoor Dining, Takeout, View, Weekend Brunch, Wheelchair Access, WineFrom the minds of Adolfo Garcia (Son of a Butcher, Pearl Tavern) and long-time restaurateur, Phil Stefani, comes Broken English Taco Pub.
