It's fine, it just feels significantly more like most inflatable boards, rather than a rigid stand up paddle board. It’s stiff. This one handles much better for surfing than the standard inflatable boards.Do not buy unless you only weight 80 pounds, my wife is 110 lbs, and could not keep from tipping side to side....and we have experience with sup'ing before this purchase.

The stability of it was so great, she was able to catch on quickly without fear of falling off or tipping! The board has a bit more of a rocker than a regular 14’ board and can definitely handle the chop when it needs to. Hopefully it keeps working the same way. Dont even ask when I (220lbs) got on, not stable at all, tracking is poor, and my feet were wet the entire time as the board was sinking into the water to leave me only 2 inches or so off the water.
