I even went to the Cross site, put in the info for the pen I bought and I still got shown the cartridges that I bought and are wrong. Cross has done a poor job in this respect of addressing the issue. I am not at all happy and will tell everyone I meet NOT to buy Cross pens because the sales info is so confusing. I understand that you can not warranty the finis but this pen was not even a year old and the finish was not scratched it was bubbling up and peeling off.
I tried the pen first--thankfully--. © 1999–2018 A. T. Cross Co. LLC.
The construction is of a very high standard, so much so I can say that this is a product that will last for years. In Stock. A Good buy, the pen and box were of high quality and well presented.
Precision balanced and weighted for a rich, tactile experience
Its balanced, weighted feel gives a sense of purpose to anything you write, while its sophisticated Gunmetal Gray finish communicates the classic style that is the hallmark of the Cross brand. I've been heavily using it for more than 2 months and it looks as new and the color is a beautiful dark blue one. I believe this review to be correct and accurate, however there may be small print i could have missed
Please try again The presentation box again surprised me as it seems to be fashioned cardboard. Created with a keen appreciation for modernist design, Century II offers a bolder look and wider girth than the original Classic Century. Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote.

Only gripe is that the cap won't stay on the end of the pen while I'm writing and I don't want to push it too hard for fear of scratching the barrel, hope I don't put the lid down and misplace it. As (i think) there were supposed to be two ink cartridges supplied i thought somehow they must be stored in the body of the pen. Product Information Smooth as silk. Thank you, Cross. Ballpoint Pen Refill - Blue - Broad
I haven’t dropped or misused it just started chipping from sliding the lid on and off the back. Looks very nice and is the perfect size for me. Very disappointed to pay this much money and then have to use a pen that looks cheap from paint chips. It writes just like I had expected and fits really well in my hand. I bought this for a gift and planned to have the name engraved on it. AmazonBasics Pencil Case - Pack of 4, Multi-Color This fine Ballpoint Pen features the same iconic design as the original Cross classic century, only with a broader profile to give it a more modern feel. I purchased it because I was tired of buying boxes of 20 pens then losing all of them. Worse was to come, when i tried to fit a fairly universal cartridge no go.
My Cross fountain pen is of the finest quality as is always the case with this extremely good manufacturer (I'm not being paid or coerced into writing my comments, honest.). $137.00.

The pen works well and is of a smooth action. Saturated with color or finessed with precious metal, it's everything we're famous for, only bigger. I struggled with a cheaper pen even though it had glowing reviews. Cross Tech3+ Brushed Black PVD Multifunction Pen with Stylus and 0.5mm Lead
This pen writes beautifully.
A gunmetal gray finish with polished black appointments I have great Medium Nib Waterman pen, that I've been using for at least 5 years now and decided to replace with Fine Nib.
My wife bought me this as a present so I can't send it back, as a pen it looks great but it writes with a really thick line I've got other medium nib pens this is the worst.I have one that cost 2.99 that writes better. Good looking; but as a precision writing implement, poor.
