By airplane? Without doing much at all, it's hilarious, infuriating, profound, poetic, and utterly brilliant. In one sequence he painstakingly walks down the steps to a subway station while people hurry by. By bus?

It questions the ambiguities of life - ideas of motivation, drive, purpose, relief, but also cinematically in the sense of conventional setup and payoffs and journeys. Art House & International, A Buddhist demon hunter who tries to redeem evil spirits clashes with a powerful mercenary huntress who keeps killing his potential converts; she also falls in love with him, despite his vow of chastity, and together they seek the Monkey King's help to defeat a powerful boar demon. The film follows the adventures of Tang Sanzang and his disciples Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing after the events of the first film; all four roles have been recast. With Zhang Wen, Qi Shu, Bo Huang, Show Lo. A film that has only a concept, but there's no beginning or the ending.

| Mutates from touching, to funny, to downright violent in mere seconds. Journey to the West es una película dirigida por Tsai Ming-liang con Lee Kang-sheng, Denis Lavant. Chow breaks out one elaborate set-piece after another. Journey to the West works so well because Chow has a flair for grand comic-action set pieces, and his imagination seems to actually draw energy from these rapid-fire tonal shifts.
