Pen Chalet now is one of my selected places of shopping for fine stationery. Please enter a vaild email address. The golden rings, the fine Pelikan clip and the gold-plated steel nib match perfectly with the color temperature of brown-colored, smoky shades. The series M200 will be offered as a fountain pen with differential piston mechanism and a ballpen with the wellestablished push-mechanism. I do however find myself intrigued by Amber for some strange reason, yellows aren’t usually my thing. I think the smokey quartz is my favorite since I recently purchased the Pelikan M400 Brown Tortoiseshell & the Pilot Amber 823. Smoky Quartz is a real contender, and I can’t wait to see in person eventually.Smoky Quartz is probably my favorite.
products? No problem! Now I might just have to grab a bottle. !I really like the aquamarine best so far, though I think I can see the smoky quartz running a close race for #1.
I’d love a back opal color. That’s not a bad place to be.
I plan to buy the re-released Aquamarine (and a Pelikan Amethyst color pen if I can find one:)).Acquamarine, for its beautiful shades! I appreciate that you’ve mentioned it does not have the yellowish undertones that can make it look questionable.
Sorry, your blog cannot share posts by email. I’m not bitter that you have helped fuel my forays into pencil and art supplies.Amethyst is the one partial to at this time. I’m only guessing, because I haven’t tried an ink from this line yet, but probably Mandarin. For the love of pens, paper, office supplies and a beautiful place to workThe color is a deep rich, chocolatey brown for sure. I think the Smoky Quartz would go beautifully in my Pelikan M205 Aquamarine, which is my first expensive pen. I’m a march baby, and even though the ink is a tad dark compared to the gem, that teal tone is everything. I love the look of it. I had Richard Binder grind the BB nib to a cursive Italic and love writing with it with the matching ink.I’ll go for Aquamarine, though really I don’t have a lot of experience with Pelikan inks. I was happy to see that the color is a warm brown with a yellow, golden undertone. When I swatched the color, it magically got this highlight spot so that I could see the undertones. There’s just something about it that’s got that old parchment history feel to it that I adore.A bluish grey with sheen to match my neckace of moonstone beads would be my choice, and of course it would be called Moonstone.Aquamarine is my favorite Pelikan Edelstein ink. (Mandarin might be a close second, though! I love the dusty, subdued color of it. Another ink maker has moonstone in gray which suggests our Moon vs the semi-precious jewel.Thank you for giving this ink away Ana. Amethyst has been my favorite to date.I haven’t tried Smoky Quarts yet.
Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Pelikan M200 Fountain Pen Smokey Quartz Fine at Amazon.com. Another favorite of mine, also my most favorite edelstein ink, is Edelstein aquamarine.Tough call because they are pretty equal or eually pretty Yes. I have a bottle of amber, but only got cartridges for Garnet. BUT, I am a huge fall girl, so I will go with Smoky Quartz all the way.I have yet to try smoky quartz but Turmaline is my favorite!I have Tanzanite, and kick myself for missing last year’s Aquamarine (best looking so far).Nice review! The richness of this color gives me the browns I’m looking for in my “old barn” drawings. The 2015 color, Amethyst, was my favorite so far. For next year magnificent malachite! This Smoky Quartz color is probably what I would choose as it would look good in my Cognac KawecoSport. Looking forward to trying it.Thanks for the giveaway. I am going to PW Akkerman on Wednesday and will let you know! And until Peridot appears, my favorite to date is Aquamarine.I tend to like darker colors; however I really like the Mandarin for the shading I see even with an EF nib.So far Aquamarine is my favorite; the shading is wonderful and I love turquoise inks.I like the Amber best, for now, but an looking forward to the olive-green promised for 2018. My first Pelikan is a definite hit! Thanks for the sweet giveaway! My favorite is Amethyst… although, I say that without having ever being able to use or see Turmaline…I just recently have gotten into fountain pens (received my first one in the mail 2 days ago) through watching Brian’s videos on YouTube, so I have no experience writing with these inks but look wise I am REALLY loving the aquamarine! There was no noticeable shading or sheening. Teal is one of my favorite colors so I’m already drawn to everything in that color range regardless of the name, but in this particular case, Aquamarine has sentimental value. This one looks gorgeous.
Smoky Quartz is definitely one of the darkest browns in my collection. Garnet as a distant second. Die vergoldeten Zierringe, der feine Pelikan Schnabelclip und die vergoldete Edelstahlfeder bilden eine perfekte Harmonie mit dem rauchigen Braunton des Smoky Quartz. Shading! Kind thanks to Joost from Appelboom Pennen, who lent me this pen. I wonder how they will react and what they will say! Just partial to browns.Smokey quartz is easily my favorite. !Aquamarine was pretty nice and definitely planning to test the Smoky Quartz, but would have no problem getting this one.Topaz is my go-to as it has great flow but I do enjoy a good brown. Love that teal color.
Additionally, they have and offer a very nice ink sample program.I got into fountain pens too late to see any of the previous Pelikan inks of the year, but from browsing around, I think my favorite would have to be Amethyst.
The Pelikan M200 Smoky Quartz fountain pen is a special edition pen to match the Edelstein ink of the year smoky quartz ink. 1 Reply. Many thanks for your creative self Ana!Amethyst hands down has been my favorite.
