Place is clean and has a chill but fancy vibe. Oh well, lets hope this pandemic is over soon.Always good. The inside has a cute and modern cafe atmosphere.Edmonton has recently seen a surge of new bubble tea joints and I am super excited that The Alley finally opened here, especially on the southside, as many bubble tea shops often generally end up centered around the Whyte Ave area.Best boba I've had so far in Edmonton.
I heard from colleagues that the wait was super crazy when it opened and on top one cup of bubble tea took the barristers 30 mins to an hour to make. They greet you with a smile and make recommendations for drinks as well (e.g. That Royal number 9 will always hit that sweet spot for me because of the unique flavour. Overall, everything tasted good and their pearls were on point - a bit chewy and sweet. This was our first time trying The Alley. Parking was difficult to find as there is construction happening next door. I highly recommend the passion fruit green tea!! Overall good place to stop by for some refreshing beverages if you're in the area.I love coming to this Alley location since the employees are always so kind! I love Chatime mind you, but I'll always support local establishments over chains. The peach tea is overly sweet and the tapioca was way too chewy and stuck together. There was a bit of a wait since there were only 2 people working. This place is great for their brown sugar deerioca series which are so sugary and amazing! It was bitter dark chocolate. On that relaxing afternoon, bath in sunshine’s’ warmth, sprinkle by breezy wind, charmed by a lover’s smile, fulfilled by the pleasing aftertaste. we didn't mind tho since we weren't in a rush and the decor there is very beautifulAs I became older my cravings for sweet drinks diminished and that's when I found The Ally. Every beverage from The Alley has a story of more than 500 days starting from the harvest of the tea leaves, the processing and aging of the leaves, the infusion of flavours to the selection of ingredients and their ratios.
From choosing the type of tea leaves, the hand-picking process and roasting with other ingredients, each cup of tea has its own determined aroma and taste. Not a fan of this place.I got the derrioca fever tapioca with brown sugar first off it tasted like I was drinking milk not impressed it wasn't like the Stc location. there were quite a lot of people there and service was slow and we had to wait 15 minutes since only one person was waiting. It is actually a chain/franchised own. There's a table and chairs outside to sit in the summer.First time trying The Alley! The Deerioca puff is more heavy because I think there's custard in it, but it's still very tasty. The price is reasonable. Got there on time. However The Alley is a place that finally offers unique tasting traditional flavours. Contact the business for more information about recent service changes.Claim your business to immediately update business information, respond to reviews, and more! It opened near the end of September but it's still quite busy a month later. It is a nice spot to get a drink and walk around the area. A good cup of tea is hidden within each and every one’s heart.
